Buying tequila in Kentucky means working with a mix of independent fine wine and spirits shops, regional chains and grocery-adjacent retailers. Premium and small-batch bottles almost always live at the independents, particularly in Louisville and Lexington.
If you are hunting a specific bottle, call ahead. Allocation moves quickly, and a store that had six bottles last month may have none today. That is also why we never display live inventory on this site — check price and availability directly with the retailer.
